Hey hey, Velvet Cupcake Friends!

I’m writing to announce that after a couple months of Sherwood demo promo and Nottingham demo writing, I’ve popped back into Ren’py and have begun scripting/coding the full demo.

That’s right, I said “full demo.” The second demo will make both the Sherwood and Nottingham common routes available in the same executable. When you start the game, you’ll get a quick rundown of the events in the prologue (which is still reserved for the final game) and then be given a quick choice of where you want to go.

Having a single demo will make it easier to post to Steam, which will hopefully get us a whole bunch more downloads and help us crowdfund successfully in order to make this whole crazy thing happen!

In terms of general project progress, Nottingham Demo Chapter 1 is largely written (there will be two chapters), there's been strong progress on the sprites and we should be starting Nottingham character reveals in the next couple weeks, and background creation is continuing apace. We're currently on schedule for the proposed October release of the full demo and our crowdfunding campaign.
